The Jackson County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors held a ribbon cutting celebration for the grand opening of the new downtown Sylva location of El Patron Mexican Restaurant on Thursday, May 5. Yes- Cinco de Mayo!
El Patron has been a community favorite restaurant at their former location in the Walmart Shopping plaza for many years and now after several months of hard work, through a pandemic no less, they are prepared to open their fantastic new location at 86 West Main Street, Unit B. They will have all of their longtime favorite menu items, plus a few new specials. There are expansive larger seating areas, a huge bar, and a back outdoor patio, plus extensive parking in the rear of the building.
The old location (170 Walmart Plaza) will be closed briefly, before reopening at a later date as an El Patron Express. More details TBA.
