Early voting ended across North Carolina on Saturday afternoon.
The North Carolina State Board of Elections said more than 4 million North Carolina ballots have been cast, which is 55.6 percent total turnout. NCSBE reported 883,964 mail ballots have been cast along with 3,200,004 in-person votes.
3,395 absentee by mail ballots have been returned for Macon County so far. 13,049 Macon County residents voted in person during the early voting period.
There is no voting on Monday, November 2nd. All 15 polling locations in Macon will be open on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3rd. The polls will be open from 6:30am-7:30pm.
