Bowl For Kids’ Sake to support Big Brothers Big Sisters of WNC

(March 16, 2023) Bowlers and sponsors have stepped up “big” for Big Brothers Big Sisters’ biggest fundraiser of the year, Bowl For Kids’ Sake on March 25.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Western North Carolina has surpassed its goal of $100,000, thanks to sponsors and bowlers in Cherokee, Clay, Graham, Jackson, Macon, and Swain counties who have registered at the Bowl For Kids’ Sake website (https://secure.qgiv.com/event/bfks2023/).

Times, places and details for Bowl For Kids’ Sake Cherokee/Clay/Graham counties and Bowl for Kids’ Sake Macon/Jackson/Swain counties, both on March 25, are available at the registration website.

This super-fun annual event raises money to support local youth. Proceeds help staff vet and train prospective mentors who commit to being a Big Brother or Big Sister for at least a year. There are more than 300 children in the 18 mountain counties BBBSWNC serves who are waiting for a Big. Local and national surveys show that having a Big improves a child’s experiences at home and at school.

Special thanks go to local sponsors whose support enables BBBSWNC to make these area Bowl For Kids’ Sake fundraisers exciting, entertaining, and uplifting events.

Regional sponsors include businesses underwriting BFKS events throughout WNC.
