Local Keller Williams agents gear up to give back

On the second Thursday of May, Keller Williams agents, leadership members, and associates step away from daily business duties, proudly donning their red KW gear, and venturing into their communities with three goals in mind: Renew, Energize, Donate.

Widely known as RED Day, this annual day of service took shape in May 2009 in celebration of Keller Williams vice chairman Mo Anderson’s birthday. Thirteen years later, RED Day 2021 will take place on Thursday, May 13.

Making a difference in the lives of others is a core part of the Keller Williams culture.

Throughout the years, on REDDAY, KW associates have built homes from the ground up, gathered and distributed food to those in need, organized relief efforts in the face of natural disasters, and raised tens of thousands of dollars for charities near and dear to their hearts and the hearts of their communities.

While the world is still faced with many uncertainties as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, REDDay is adapting to bring service and connection in whichever way feels safest for each individual office.

Our goal this year is for our KW Franklin family to serve our community in the safest way possible.
Our associates will be out in full force in red KW t-shirts restocking the “Free Little Pantries” around town, doing roadside cleanup, supporting our local animal shelter with food, cleaning supplies, and donating a Tower Garden with vegetable seedlings to one of our local schools.

If you would like to help us by donating items for the Free Little Pantries or Animal Shelter or by making a monetary donation for any of these projects this year, please call 828-524-0100 or drop off at Keller Williams, 1573 Highlands Road, Franklin NC.
