Together We Can to host fundraiser for shelter to support children in foster care

Togehter We Can has been working very hard on this Special Event and invite you to join them for an incredible night of fun, at a new venue in town!

The night will be filled with dinner, dessert, line dancing, Live Music by Carolina 441 Band, a live auction and so much more.

Together We Can is a non-profit 501c3 organization with the mission to Educate, Support and Advocate for the fostering community in Macon County NC.

They are currently fundraising for renovations to the recently purchased “Transition Home” including interior work, fencing, alarm system, and needed household items. This home will bring comfort to the children from the moment they come into the Department’s custody. The children will be able to be kids and play outside, eat a home-cooked meal, and even sleep in a bed until foster placement is found; ensuring that no children will have to sleep on an air mattress at the Department of Social Services.
