Swain Clean September Litter Pickup

Please join us for our September litter pickup on Saturday Sept 17th. Meet at the Riverside Pavilion behind the Swain County Heritage Museum and Visitor Center at 9:00 a.m. Swain Clean will provide trash bags, reflective safety vests, and signs and has a limited number of trash “grabbers” to loan out for the day. After a quick organizational meeting, we will divide up and fan out across Bryson City and Swain County to remove trash and litter along roads and streams. At 12:00 noon we will meet back up at the Riverside Pavilion to share a free pizza lunch while telling tales of how beautiful and clean we have made our community.
