The Smoky Mountain Center for the Performing Arts will be hosting a live drive-thru nativity scene for the first time this year. The Performing Arts Center will be teaming up with Cartoogechaye Baptist Church to host the event.
The event will be hosted on Friday, December 11 through Sunday, December 13 beginning at 6 p.m.
Begin your journey at the main entrance of SMCPA in Franklin where the front of the venue will be decked out in thousands of twinkling lights dancing to the traditional sounds of the season.
Then, passing through the gates of ancient times, visit the scenes of the shepherds in the fields, the traveling wise men and the manger surrounded by the Heavenly Hosts proclaiming “Glory to God in the Highest!”
This seasonal event, presented by Cartoogechaye Baptist Church, is a heart-warming celebration of the birth of Christ and the true meaning of Christmas. This event is free, but donations will be accepted.
