Spectator policies for Catamount Home Basketball Games in 2022 due to COVID

Catamount Athletics remains deeply committed to the health of the community including patrons of home events on campus. With the surge in COVID-19 cases around the nation, please be aware of the continued mask requirements on Western Carolina University’s campus that includes events at Ingles Court at the Ramsey Center.

When planning to attend a home game in the Ramsey Center, please adhere to the following guidelines:

Approved face coverings that properly cover the nose and mouth are required to be worn at all times within university buildings including the Ramsey Center when not actively eating or drinking;

Physical distancing is recommended at all times while attending home events in the Ramsey Center. Arena seating will be limited to every other row inside the Ramsey Center and patrons are asked to allow two seats between individuals not with your party;

If you are not feeling well or have any symptoms, please stay at home;

Western Carolina continues to practice its “Clear Bag Policy” at home athletic events. Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12″x12″x6″ are approved; small clutch bags or purses and diaper bags for infants are permissible – for the latter, the diaper bag must accompany the infant at admission. All parcels, bags and alike, are subject to inspection upon entry into the Ramsey Center.
