CULLOWHEE – Harris Regional Hospital is pleased to welcome Jonathan Motts, MD to Harris Family Care – Cullowhee, a primary care practice located in Western Carolina University’s Health and Human Sciences Building at 4121 Little Savannah Road, Cullowhee, NC 28723.
Dr. Motts received his Medical Degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston before completing his family medicine residency at the Swedish Cherry Hill Rural Training Track based in Seattle and Port Angeles, WA. While there, he served as a chief resident. He is currently an MAHEC Rural Health Fellow and as such he is developing his point of care ultrasound skills while serving the Cullowhee community. Dr. Motts received his undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina in Columbia.
Raised on an old family farm in upstate South Carolina, Dr. Motts’ dedication to providing quality care within rural communities’ stems from his own rural roots. Motts grew up with an appreciation for nature and the small-town life. Since joining Harris Regional Hospital, Motts passionately serves alongside his team to support the community.
