Franklin Aldi set to open in Spring 2023

Construction crews officially wrapped up Aspen Dental this week and moved operations to begin working on the future Aldi location in Franklin.

The store is expected to be 26,000 square feet and is part of a larger development project that started with Chick-Fil-A.

While construction crews work through supply chain issues, representatives with Aldi says the new store is expected to be open by Spring 2023.

We are excited to confirm we are planning to open a new ALDI store in Franklin, North Carolina, in the spring of 2023,” Shaun O’Keefe, vice president of the Jefferson Division at ALDI said Friday afternoon.

In preparation of the new grocery store opening, Aldi is currently hiring management positions that will begin training prior to the physically opening.

“We are currently looking to fill 3-4 full time management positions and intend to hire part time associates, stockers and cashiers after the first of the year,” said O’Keefe. “We look forward to serving Franklin area residents and providing them with the best grocery shopping experience.”
