Franklin High School (FHS) is embarking on the search for a new principal following the impending transition of Michael "Mikey" Noe to a central office position. The Macon County Schools Board of Education approved Noe's transfer from FHS principal to the role of Chief Academic Officer/Federal Programs Director, effective Sunday, Oct. 1. Noe, who took on the position of FHS principal in July 2021, has had a distinguished career in education, including notable roles in the region.
