Raleigh, NC – On Wednesday, August 16, 2023, Representative Karl E. Gillespie (R-Macon) was elected as House Majority Whip by his esteemed colleagues in the North Carolina House of Representatives. Currently serving in his second term in the North Carolina House of Representatives, Representative Gillespie represents the 120th House District, comprising Cherokee, Clay, Graham, and Macon Counties.
