Swain Community Hospital welcomes Jonathan Motts, MD to Swain Family Care

Bryson City – Swain Community Hospital is pleased to welcome Jonathan Motts, MD to Swain Family Care, a primary care practice located at the hospital at 45 Plateau St. in Bryson City. Specializing in family medicine, Dr. Motts joins Tammy Johnston, MD, Dave Johnston, MD, Benjamin Gans, DO, Angela Struna, PA, Arielle Lankford, PNP, and Norma Burdette, NP in providing primary care to Swain County and the surrounding region. Dr. Motts received his Medical Degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston before completing his family medicine residency at the Swedish Cherry Hill Rural Training Track based in Seattle and Port Angeles, WA. While there he served as a chief resident. He is currently a MAHEC Rural Health Fellow and as such he is developing his point of care ultrasound skills while serving the Swain County community. Dr. Motts received his undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina in Columbia.
