Starting Monday, Nov. 14, hundreds of local Operation Christmas Child volunteers began to transform empty shoeboxes—filled with fun toys, school supplies and hygiene items—into gifts of hope.
Local families, churches, and other groups in Western North Carolina and all across the U.S. can drop-off their shoebox gifts local drop-off centers.
The Central Drop-Off Location in Franklin is Holly Springs Baptist Church but there are others across Western North Carolina including:

Curbside Drop-Off will be available for those wishing to remain in their vehicles. National Collection Week, runs from Nov.14-21.

Operation Christmas Child, a project of Samaritan’s Purse, seeks to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world and, together with the local church worldwide, to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. Since 1993, Operation Christmas Child has collected and delivered more than 198 million gift-filled shoeboxes to children in more than 170 countries and territories. This year, Operation Christmas Child will collect its 200-millionth shoebox!
